A very cool feature in SWTOR is the companions, SWTOR companions are basically pets, but with a little twist.

What do the SWTOR Companions do?

The SWTOR Companions can be there for many reasons, but the main reason for these guys is to contribute to your journey through the game as a player. They also provide commentary and information on your questing plots.

What Classes get what companions?

Trooper:

(1) Aric Jorgan -Ord Mantell

Ranged DPS companion that uses sniper rifle and heavy armor.

(2) Elara Dorne -Taris

Ranged Companion that uses blaster pistol and heavy armor, also does healing.

(3) M1-4X -Nar Shaddaa

Ranged companion that uses blaster rifle and heavy armor as well as droid parts. This is more of a tanky companion.

(4) Tanno Vic -Balmora

Melee companion that uses heavy armor, this is a very tank oriented companion.

(5) Bug Dude -Hoth

Melee companion that uses medium armor, more of a DPS companion.

Smuggler:

(1) Corso Riggs -Ord Mantell

Ranged companion that uses heavy armor, blaster pistols and rifles, and is a tank companion with the ability to taunt.

(2) Bowdaar -Nar Shaddaa (Wookie)

Melee tank companion that uses heavy armor.

(3) Risha -Alderaan

Ranged companion focused on DPS, uses medium armor and sniper rifle.

(4)Akavi Spaar -Balmorra

Ranged companion focused on DPS, uses heavy armor.
(5) Guss Tuno -Hoth (Mon Calamari)

Healing companion using medium armor as well as blasters.

Jedi Consular:

(1) Qyzen-Fess -Typhon (male Trandoshan)

Melee tank companion that uses Heavy Armor.
(2) Theran Cedrex -Nar Shaddaa (male Human)

Ranged Healing companion that uses medium armor and pistol.

(3) Zenith -Balmorra (male Twilek)

Ranged DPS companion using medium armor and sniper rifle.

(4) Lt Iresso -Hoth (male Human )

Ranged tank companion using blaster rifle, also has a ranged taunt ability.

(5) Nadia Grell

Melee DPS companion with an AoE, uses a doublebladed lightsaber.

Jedi Knight:

(1) T7-01 -Typhon (Astromech Droid)

Ranged tank companion using heavy armor and blaster rifle as well as a grenade ability for AoE damage.

(2) Kira -Courscant

Melee DPS companion using light armor with an AoE sweep ability. This companion can use either a doublebladed or single bladed lightsaber.

(3) Doc -Balmora

Ranged healing companion that uses a Pistol.

(4) Sargent Rusk -Hoth

Ranged DPS companion that uses Heavy Armor, Sniper Rifle, and has an AoE.

(5) Lord Scourge -Empires Palace (Sith Pureblood)

Melee Tanky DPS companion that uses heavy armor as well as a shield generator

Bounty Hunter:

(1) Mako -Hutta

Ranged healing companion that uses medium armor as well as blasters.

(2) Gault -Tattooine

Ranged DPS Companion that uses Medium armor as well as a Rifle.

(3) Torian Cadera -Taris (Mandalorian)

Melee DPS Companion that uses Heavy Armor, this SWTOR Companion also has an AoE flame swipe taunt and a Ground Slam.

(4) Blizz -Hoth

Ranged Tank companion, uses heavy armor and a Suppressive Fire ability that also taunts.

(5) Skadge – Belsavis

Melee Tank companion that uses heavy armor, a Vibrosword, and a Flamethrower kit.
Imperial Agent:

(1) Kaliyo D’jannis -Hutta

Ranged DPS Companion with Medium Armor, wields dual pistols and has a grenade kit.

(2) Vector Hyllis -Alderaan

This SWTOR Companion is a Melee DPS with Medium armor, it uses a Vibrostaff and has an AoE Swipe Mode special as well as a Ground Slam Kit.

(3) Doctor Lokin

Melee Tank companion with Light Armor. This SWTOR Companion has a Vibrosword as well as a Shield Generator along with a Ground Slam Kit. This companion uses a “tank transformation mode”

(4) Ensign Temple -Quesh

Ranged Healing companion with medium armor, uses pistol and a shield generator.

(5) Scorpio – Belsavis

This SWTOR companion is a ranged tank, but is somewhat weaker than the other tank companions. She uses heavy armor with a Blaster Pistol as well as a Shield Generator and Shield Kit.

Sith Inquisitor:
(1) Khem Val – Korriban

Melee tank companion using a Vibroblade and a Shield Generator. This SWTOR companion uses heavy armor and a Shockwave starting kit.

(2) Andronikos Revel – Tatooine

Ranged DPS companion using Dual Blasters and Medium Armor.

(3) Ashara Zavros – Taris

Melee DPS Companion that uses Dual Lightsabers and Medium Armor.

(4) Talos Drellik – Hoth

Healing Companion that is ranged, uses Medium Armor as well as a blaster and Shield Generator. Has a medkit for a starting kit.

(5) Xalek – After Voss

Ranged Tank Companion with a Lightsaber and Shield Generator. This SWTOR Companion uses Light Armor.

Sith Warrior:


(1) Vette -Korriban (female Twilek)

Ranged DPS Companion using medium armor as well as a choice between dual pistols or a blaster rifle.

(2) Malavi Quinn -Balmora

Ranged Healing companion that uses Medium Armor, Blaster Pistol, and a Shield Generator. This SWTOR Companion has a medkit as it’s default kit.

(3) Jaesa Willsaam -Hutta

Melee DPS Companion that has light armor and uses either a 1H or Doublebladed Lightsaber.

(4) Lieutenant Pierce -Taris

Ranged Tank Companion that uses Heavy Armor, has the choice between a Blaster Pistol or a Rifle, and uses a Shield Generator as well as a Grenade default kit.

(5) Broonmark -Hoth

Melee Tank Companion with Heavy Armor, Vibrosword and shield generator.
