The SWTOR Bounty Hunter class uses a “heat” system as opposed to something like mana or energy.
Vent Heat – This ability causes the Bounty Hunter to vent all built up heat and reduce it’s heat to 0. Instant ability with 60 second cooldown.
Missile Blast – Fires a rocket dealing high damage as well as a knockdown, also this ability does smaller AoE damage to enemies in a 5m radius. Instant cast on 15s cooldown, 60 heat.
Death From Above – Causes you to fly to a safe distance and shoot missiles to a selected area.
Flamethrower – A medium range fire cone DoT that builds heat.
SWTOR Bounty Hunter Specializations
Every class has two talent specializations, for the Bounty Hunter, you have Powertech and Mercenary.
Powertech: Close-Mid Range damage, this specialization focuses mainly on damage dealing or tanking. Utilizes flamethrower and defensive/energy shields.
Mercenary: Mid-Long range damage, this specialization focuses mainly on damage dealing or healing. Utilizes missles and dual wield guns.
