This guide is dedicated to SWTOR Jedi Sage Healing or Seer build. This is one of the most popular and typical healer type builds.

Before we get started with Jedi Sage Healing or Seer Build, let’s also make a note of other two types of builds.
SWTOR Jedi Sage Telekinesis Build – This build is a DPS or Spike Damage striker build with area damage and control abilities. Majority of skills in this one are from Telekinesis tree.
SWTOR Jedi Sage Balanced Build – A more all rounder or balanced type build with self healing and control abilities. It’s a powerful but challenging to play kind of build.
Jedi Sage Healing or Seer Build
PvE Builds: Standard (32/7/2), Offensive Leveling (30/9/2)
PvP Builds: PvP Standard (32/7/2)
The Healing or Seer build is a preventative and control based type of build. It takes almost all important skills from the Seer tree making it highly effective healer and control based character. Note that despite the fact that its a healer build there are a few abilities taken from Telekinesis tree and these are extremely important.
Your healing specialization includes some of the very important and crucial Jedi Sage abilities like Benevolence, Disturbance, Deliverance, Force Armor, Rejuvenate, Restoration, Healing Trance, Salvation and Weaken Mind.
When it comes to gears Willpower will be your primary stat. Other good options are Surge rating, Alacrity, Expertise Rating (PvP).
In this guide, we will look at all the abilities in more detail.

Explanation of Jedi Sage Healing or Seer Build
Benevolence:
Main healing ability when you get started. You might be able to cast about 15 times, but it’s not that much at higher levels.
After you get Deliverance, stop using Benevolence unless you need an urgent heal. After getting force armor, you can literally stop using Benevolence. Later at higher levels when you get Rejuvenate and Conveyance then Benevolence again becomes one of your highly efficient heals.
Note how the way you use your abilities changes at higher levels as you unlock skills one by one.
Disturbance:
It’s an offensive ability that is recommended for leveling. It might not do that great deal of damage but its better than not attacking at all or attacking at point blank range. Use this in Offensive leveling build.
Deliverance:
This one is a slow but yet highly efficient healing abilities. Use this as your primary heal for spamming, especially in PvP. Even if you get interrupted, it won’t lock your other important abilities such as Healing Trance which is very handy when you want to pull off a high speed heal.
Deliverance is a good emergency heal. But this is only true when you get Rejuvenate and Conveyance. Later when you get Healing Trance, Deliverance looses it’s importance as you will start using that for Emergency heals.

Force Armor:
It’s the single fastest big healing skill that Jedi Sages get. Use this to heal tanks. Keep this refreshed every 20 seconds. When you see a damage spike from enemy this can come handy to heal a great amount of health.
Rejuvenate:
Use this for periodic healing. After you get Conveyance, always keep this on cool down just for sake of Conveyance. This skill even improves your armor.
Restoration:
This ability removes two debuffs. It also gives a small amount of heal on whoever you cast on. It’s efficient debuff but a weak healing skill.
Healing Trance:
Use this to channel heal for three seconds where it will heal the recipient every second. It’s even better when used with Conveyance as you get a total of 50% critical with Healing Trance.
Salvation:
This one is your area heal. You can heal all melee or range, or even both. Allows only up to 8 targets and that too whoever is in the circle of heal. Note that the most effective heal is the first way and all the targets must be in the circle for entire duration to receive maximum benefits.
Weaken Mind:
This one’s an important PVP ability. It has very good damage and uses low Force points.
SWTOR Jedi Sage Healing or Seer Build – Gear
Like with other Consulars your main stat is Willpower. Other good options are Critical Strike Rating. Make sure you get your Crit Rate to 20%. What you take after this, is just your choice.

A few good options are Surge Rating for increasing effectiveness of Healing Trance, Rejuvenate and even Salvation.
Another good option is Alacrity for improving effectiveness or speed of Deliverance and Healing.
That’s all on this brief introductory Jedi Sage Healing and Seer builds guide. The next guide in series talks about the Jedi Sage Telekinesis or the DPS build.
