Not only is this great for getting stacks applied even quicker at the start of the fight, but should the stacks ever fall off you can easily re-apply them again.
Protector – Pretty straight-forward talent here and an obvious choice for a tank, the 4% increase to endurance is a must have.
Overhead Slash – This ability isn’t necessarily a ‘tanking’ talent but it does have its place in the SWTOR Jedi Guardian Tanking Build. As you know, tanking isn’t all about having the most Health Points or the best armor, it is also about dealing enough damage to hold threat! And this ability will certainly help as it deals 1935-2157 base weapon damage.

Warding Call – Well this is a pretty obvious choice for a tank as well, Warding Call can be activated to reduce all damage taken by 40% for 10 seconds. There’s really no reason to not take this ability as it can be used in so many situations, whether the rest of your group is taking a lot of damage so heals need to focus healing elsewhere, or if you are about to take a huge damage spike.
Guard Stance – This talent will increase your melee and ranged defenses by 6% while in Soresu Form. Obviously any talents that will increase defenses by a % margin are great picks for a SWTOR Jedi Guardian Tanking Build.
Command – Reduces the Cooldown of Challenging Call and Force Push by 15 seconds, these are 2 great abilities that suffer from longer cooldowns, this talent will help alleviate some of that time.
Dust Storm – The last talent we will look at is Dust Storm, this will cause your Force Sweep to lower the accuracy of affected targets by 5% for 18 seconds. This in turn will help you as a tank because whoever you strike with this will end up dealing less damage to you!
